Television

Nowadays, television has become the most popular media of human kind. It’s also the necessary device in our daily life. By watching TV, we can see many things happened in the surrounding us world, therefore it help us to catch and avoid being dropped back from the world of information.

There so many advantages of television, it can enlarge our knowledge, as an entertainment, enrich our experience  of life. And then if children and parents watch TV together, it can strengthening the child–parent bond. If we watch the positive programs, can result positive lifestyle and behavioral. Television also the fastest media to shows news and can promote positive social messages.

But we can find the disadvantages of television, such reduce the quality of performance of the brain. So the brain will gradually decrease in function then will cause a feeling like lazy to think and the brain get tired quickly. It make our eyes will get a disability to see clearly, spend so many time, decrease the thought effort logically and also decrease our body health.

From the arguments above, I can give some recommendation :
ü Accompany the child while watching TV and select movies to watch
ü Do not place televisions or computers in children's bedrooms
ü Limit the amount of time spent in front of a TV for the child
ü Know what they are watching and not allow to watch drama, violence and programs of a sexual nature if not age-appropriate;
ü Do not use screen time as a 'reward' for good behaviour or as a parenting tool.

Explanation

This topic is about what nature does that prepares all of the elements for the making of snow.

High up in the sky clouds begin to form. Clouds are made of water vapour. The temperature is cooler up in the clouds than it is on the ground as a general rule. However, the temperature is not constant throughout the clouds. There are different layers or zones of temperature. These different temperature zones play an important role in the forming of a snow flake or crystal.

The water vapour in the clouds is being blown around by winds through the different temperature zones. Typically liquid water will freeze at approximately 0°C. However, for water to become solid (freeze) the water molecule (H2O) needs to slow down and to touch something solid. By touching something solid and slowing down the water molecule can, under normal circumstances transition from a vapour/gas to a liquid to a solid, or from a vapour to a solid directly. But up in the cloud there is mostly water vapour (very few solids) and lots of movement. So the water molecules continue to cool while still in a vapour form. This is called super-cooling.

When a water molecule is in a super-cooled state it can go from a vapour/gas to a solid quickly and directly. So what it mostly needs now is something solid. The "something solid" is called a nucleator. Most commonly the nucleators found in clouds are dust. The nucleators are very, very small. Small enough that the winds can lift them high into the sky. Small enough that you can't see one with the naked eye. The job of the nucleator is to start the snow crystal. Once the crystal is started then other water molecules can join onto this crystal.

Eventually after blowing around for a period of time a water molecule will join with a nucleator. The process of building a crystal has started. Other water vapour molecules in their super-cooled state will find this crystal. Some of these molecules will join the crystal and some will not. The process of building a crystal is slow.

How a crystal grows is determined mostly by the amount of water available (the super-saturation level of ice relative to water in air; we'll call this the "SSL(I)" for personal typing sanity) and the temperature with an influence by the atmospheric pressure and (it seems) possibly the electrical charge. Once the crystal starts it is still subjected to the same forces that the water vapour molecules are subjected to. The crystal is blown around throughout the cloud through a variety of different temperature zones. The crystal can continue to be blown about for tens of minutes to hours before falling to the ground. At different temperatures fresh water molecules will attach to the crystal at different locations. In other words the crystal will "grow" differently at different temperatures. Since the crystal is being subjected to a variety of temperatures and humidities as it is blown about, the crystal will grow differently at different times.

Indonesian Folklore

The Legend of Prambanan Temple

Once upon a time in Java Island, especially in Prambanan, there were two Hindu kingdoms, they were Pengging and Kraton Boko. Pengging Kingdom was a prosperous and wealthy kingdom led by a wise king named Prabu Damar Moyo who had a son named Raden Bandung Bondowoso.

Kraton Boko was a part of Pengging Kingdom jurisdiction led by a cruel king that was not a man but a giant who was a man eater, named Prabu Boko.
However, Prabu Boko had a very beautiful daughter named Princess Lara Jonggrang. Prabu Boko also had a minister named Patih Gupolo that was a giant too. Prabu Boko had a desire to revolt and had control over Pengging Kingdom. Therefore, together with Patih Boko, they gathered the power by training men to become soldiers and collected goods from civil people as provisions.
After having enough preparation, Prabu Boko and all soldiers went to Pengging Kingdom to revolt. Then the war between Pengging and Boko Soldier happened in Pengging kingdom. A lot of soldiers died from both sides. People of Pengging became poor and suffered from starvation. Knowing that his people were suffering and there were lots of soldiers died, Prabu Damar Moyo sent his son, Raden Bandung Bondowoso to have a battle with Prabu Boko. The fighting between Raden Bandung Bondowoso and Prabu Boko was very furious. Because of the power of Raden Bandung Bondowoso, Prabu Boko can be defeated, and then he died. When Patih Gupalo found out that his king died, he ran away from the battle. Raden Bandung Bondowoso chased him to Kraton Boko.
After he arrived at Kraton Boko, Patih Gupalo reported to Princess Lara Jonggrang that her father died in the battle, that he was killed by a Pengging knight named Raden Bandung Bondowoso. Then the princess cried, she was very sad because of the death of her father.
Then Raden Bandung Bondowoso arrived at Kraton Boko. He was surprised when he saw Princess Lara Jonggrang, She was very beautiful so he proposed her to become his wife. However, Princess Lara Jonggrang did not want to marry Raden Bandung Bondowoso because he killed her father. To refuse his proposal, Princess Lara Jonggrang had a strategy. She had two requests that should be fulled by Raden Bandung Bondowoso so that she would agree to marry him. First, she asked him to make Jalatunda well. Then, she asked him to make 1000 temples in one night.
Raden Bandung Bondowoso accepted the requests. Immediately he started to make Jalatunda well and asked Princess Loro Jonggrang to see it. Then, Princess Lara Jonggrang asked Raden Bandung Bondowoso to go into the well, and after that she ordered Patih Gupolo to pile up the well with stone. Both Princess Lara Jonggrang and Patih Gupolo thought that Raden Bandung Bondowoso already died in the well. However, Raden Bandung Bondowoso was still alive. He meditated then he could get out from the well safely.
Raden Bandung Bondowoso was very angry with Princess Lara Jonggrang. However, because of her beauty, he soon forgot about his anger. After that, Princess Lara Jonggrang asked Raden Bandung Bondowoso to do the second request which was to make 1000 temples in one night. Therefore Raden Bandung Bondowoso commanded genies to make the temples immediately. However Princess Lara Jonggrang intended to foil his effort to make the temples. She ordered the girls to pound and burn stubbles, so that the sky looked bright as if the morning had come. That made the cocks crow loudly.
Hearing the cocks crowing, people pounding rice, and seeing the brightness in the east, the genies stopped making temples. Genies reported to Raden Bandung Bondowoso that they could not continue building the temples because the morning had come. Raden Bandung Bondowoso got the feeling that the morning had not come yet.
He asked Princess Lara Jonggrang to count the amount of the temples. The total was only 999 temples, so there was still 1 temple left. Therefore, Princess Lara Jonggrang refused to marry Raden Bandung Bondowoso. Feeling deceived, Raden Bandung Bondowoso was very angry and cursed her, “Lara Jonggrang, there is only 1 temple left, let you be the one to make it complete”. It was a miracle that suddenly Princess Lara Jonggrang transformed to a stone statue.
